Many of our clients were at the Granite State Human Resources Conference in Manchester on May1st.
If you visited our booth (and we had lots of visitors), you would have noticed that our theme this year was “Work Happy.”

In 2010, Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh’s first book, Delivering Happiness, A Path to Profits, Passion, and Purpose blasted to the top of bestseller lists with its blend of business advice, tales of worm farms, raves,multi-million dollar deals and – above all – the belief that happiness can be used as a model both in business and in life.

And WOW…did people respond. What they heard was an outpouring of positivity from people inspired to make a change – big or small – towards happiness.

Key Partners began spreading happiness in our own office.  We believe that one kindness showered on our own employees would make our office more fun, more productive and more profitable.  We were right!

We work hard but we take time to laugh and enjoy the day.  We work hard to make certain that what we share happiness.  Whether it’s our client our candidate or our staff.

Key Partners, Inc. is now a company with a cause – to grow a movement that spreads and inspires more happiness in the world.   Backed by studies in the science of happiness and positive psychology, we have learned there are actually tangible ways to create happiness in our lives.

We’ve got a higher purpose, and it’s a pretty big one.  But big changes do not happen without a big
vision!  Ours is:

  • To inspire (and be inspired!)
  • Connect like-minded people to a community
(bringing Key Partners clients and candidates together)
  • Educate and empower people to create more
happiness (Training Key Partners students with better skills)
  • Create meaningful experiences in our lives’
(helping to find new careers for our candidates)

This is just the beginning. We hope you'll join us!

Is there such a thing as true happiness arnomye?Life is what you make it, plain and simple. However I do find that so many people today are just out for themselves, which to some extent is fine. What and who can you trust arnomye?I agree with Carol, or with what her mother had to say. Some people try so hard to be something they are not, I know, I found out the hard way.Enjoy the life you have, stop running to find greener pastures. If your grass isn't so green, remedy it, if you don't like the music, turn the dial. Listen to reason before you judge, you may have lost someone or something that could have made a wonderful difference in your life.

It is harder right now. I'm a caslsic example of being underemployed and that creates a lot of stress. To counter the stress, I'm taking time to do things that alleviate the stress. Long walks with the dog help. So did the rainbow a couple of nights ago. (I took it as a sign of hope).I've got more time to spend with my family. These things aren't eliminating the situation we're in, but they help create a balance.
